Panhandle Salt Pompano Rig Running Trace

Our Running Trace Rig is South African inspired and designed to be fished with a loose drag. The goal is simple: when a fish investigates the bait, it feels little to no tension, making this a sneaky, effective rig for picky fish and tough bite days.

All versions are tied with 20 lb Perdido Leader and use a combination of Frisky Fins and SurfPro Tackle floats. Available options include Silver Float Hook on Blue Current for clear water, Orange & Beige Pearl Float on Wet Sand for stained water, Small Orange & Beige Glow on Grass Line for early mornings, late afternoons, stained water, and overcast days, and Chartreuse & White Frisky Fins Rattle on Blue Current for bright skies, clean to murky water, and choppy surf conditions.
