Panhandle Salt Drum Rig

The Panhandle Salt Drum Rig is built for Gulf Coast surf fishing and designed for targeting black drum from the beach.

This modified Carolina-style rig is made with an Eagle Claw 3/0 hook, 30 lb Perdido Leader, a Frisky Fins float, and a sliding coast lock that allows your bait to move more naturally instead of being locked into one fixed position.

This rig performs best in calmer Panhandle surf conditions. In rougher surf or stronger current, the longer leader can be more prone to tangling.
